✨ The Title/Cover Draw:
- This is the last of the Practical Magic series that I had to read. This series is a favorite of mine for sure.
💜 What I liked:
- Alice Hoffman has the ability to really take you away to the period she is writing about. This story is a prequel to Practical magic where we learn about Jet, Franny, and Vincent and their life up to the moment Sally and Gillian come to them. Having read Book of Magic, I knew some things but that didn’t keep me from bawling during parts of this book. It’s all about love.
😱 What I didn’t like:
- Ya know – Maybe that there won’t be a book 5?

For the Owens family, love is a curse that began in 1620, when Maria Owens was charged with witchery for loving the wrong man.
