✨ The Title/Cover Draw:
- I got this book from both @librofm and @bookofthemonth so I got to read it both listening and reading at once, which is pretty fun. This is my first time reading these authors.
💜 What I liked:
- The story is told in 2 points of view: Avery and Melissa. Avery is a therapist who is approached by Marissa for counseling after she has cheated on her husband. There is a high level of misdirections to what is ultimately the reveal. Sound a tad ambiguous? See below.
😱 What I didn’t like:
- You are following a mystery that unfolds but you are not sure what the mystery even is until ¾ of the way through. Everything is mysterious. But to be honest, the writing style kept me with it so I don’t even think I minded. I am actually looking forward to reading more by these authors.
