According to the note in my package, the soaps have been curing over 4 weeks. They are hand made and a small family business which I think is amazing. Being able to support small businesses are really a great way to help others out.
The soap is made with natural essential oils and other ingredients like Shea and Cocoa Butter. These ingredients are a very organic way to moisturize without putting a lot of toxins in your body.
As far as feeling, there is no film when you use it. It washes off cleanly and moisturizes your skin so it does not feel dry when you leave the shower. Honestly I need to buy a few more scents. This would be perfect as gifts!!!!
If you are looking for amazingly scented artisan soaps, this is a great product.
