Review
We’ve been noticing that the theme of this year’s Christmas movies is giving. This one puts it right in the title. An air force base in Guam has a tradition of air dropping supplies and gifts to the neighboring islands at Christmas. Many miles away in Washington bureaucrats are assessing which bases to close. The Mr. Potter of this movie is a government worker played by Virginia Madsen. She is not convinced the Christmas drop is a valuable use of military personnel and equipment. So she sends a representative to see this first hand. If you’re looking for a change of scenery, this island christmas is for you.
