The Review

The Title/Cover Draw:

  • I have had this book for awhile and I think I tried to read it once before. I needed it for a prompt for the book club so I picked it up again.

💜 What I liked:

  • It was easy to read this and similar to Cinderella. But the changes were very creative. I liked a lot of the main character and her integrity.

😱 What I didn’t like:

  • It seemed like while the ending did cliffhang into the next book, it did it in a weird place. I felt like I really wanted a tad more before the next book. But I suppose that makes me want to read book two even more.

💁‍♀️ The Characters:

  • Cinder and her sisters Pansy and Peony live with her step-mother. Kai is the price of their area. There is also another group of people from the moon.

🚦 The Ending:

  • It was a very nail biting, leave you wanting ending.

💭 Reminds me of:

  • Cinderella with Asian influences set in the future.

All thoughts and opinions are my own.
