The Imposter By Suzanne Woods Fisher Book Review

It’s Novel Nerd!

The book I read last week was called The Imposter by Suzanne Woods Fisher. It falls into the Drama Fiction category.

The Imposter by Suzanne Woods Fisher _ Zainey Laney

I read quite a few dramas, and while it is not my favorite category (that would be chic-lit or scifi/ suspense) it is a great way to pass the time and not tax your brain.

The Imposter is a pretty quick and easy read, so if you like quiet time with a cup of tea, this is a book for you!

What I liked about this book is that even though it takes place in an amish community, there are members of the church that are open to change and do not judge someone for their decisions. It is a book about love: platonic and romantic. And it really makes you think about what is important in life? Is it your core moral values or your love for the people around you? How should we really live to show people how we care? Can Imposters be friends? Can your friends be imposters? Yep there are a lot of questions, but this book gives their take on the answers.

The Imposter is available on AMAZON in ebook, paperback, and Hardcover formats. Also available on Google Play.

Release date: Oct 6

Press Summary:

A heart once deceived should not be easily fooled again . . .

Katrina Stoltzfus thought she had life and love all figured out: she was going to marry John and live happily ever after. But as her plans crumble before her eyes, she struggles to face an uncertain future. When a widow asks for help starting a new business, Katrina quickly agrees. She needs time to heal her broken heart, to untangle her messy life, to find a purpose.

What she doesn’t need is attention from Andy Miller, a farmhand who arrives at the widow’s farm just when help is most needed–and who always seems to say the right thing and be in the right place, at the right time. Is Andy for real or too good to be true? She’s been deceived once before, and she isn’t planning on experiencing it again.

Bestselling author Suzanne Woods Fisher invites you back to Stoney Ridge for a tale of love, uncertainty, and trusting God to write your story.
