When you are part of social media, blogging, or a youtuber, it is very important to be a part of a community and to be sharing content besides your own. In the Geeks & Beauties Google Community that I run, we try very hard to support and encourage each other’s endeavors. One of the ways I personally do this is starting to highlight people people on my blog and youtube channel. Here is part 2 of 3 people who will be featured on my site during the month of September. Our first featured person is Lyn. Here is a little bit about herself:
Hi! My name is Lyn and I am a proud wife and Mom to two boys. I love reading and books are a huge passion for me. I also love talking about beauty and trying diy crafts with my family. I have only been blogging a short time but am amazed at the feeling of connection and community. I feel like it has given me a whole new social circle, and I am learning so much.
I am a huge nerd. My husband and I bonded over our love of video games. Firefly and Star Wars. If it’s sci-fi, I will probably enjoy it!
About my work:
I enjoy reviewing products both on my blog and on Amazon for review groups. I have also been extremely lucky and had the opportunity to do several book reviews. I am finding a new love for urban fantasy and discovering some great new science fiction authors! I love learning about products and services that will enhance life for my family and myself, and am happy to talk about anything and everything I find innovative and helpful. I would love to connect with other Moms, bloggers, geeks and really anyone out there!
