5 Spinoffs You Would Love to See Get Made #5FandomFriday

This is my very first submission to 5 Fandom Friday, which I participate on through the Female Geek Bloggers Google+ Community. Every friday we have a different topic we blog about. For the 5 spinoffs I would love to see get made, I decided to limit myself to television past and present.

We are currently re-watching Chuck. I forgot what an amazing show this is. Plus doesn’t everyone kind of have a little man crush on Zachary Levi? But anyway, now instead of being a spy, Chuck must be…a father! Wouldn’t you love to see Chuck and Sarah as a normal couple trying to raise a teenager and a couple of twin toddlers. AMAZING!

Parks and Recreation is probably one of my favorite shows of all time. I love the group dynamic and how they support each other (even Jerry, in their own way). Plus I associate with Leslie Knope with mostly everything except the political aspirations; scrapbooking, planners, and general nerdiness.Since *SPOILERS* the finale never really confirmed what happens to Ben and Leslie, I would love to see them fulfill their dreams in the white house. Imagine them dealing with foreign policy (much like their model UN debacle) while their triplets run underfoot. A whole new staff will be established as hi-jinks ensue!

Many of you might give me a great big *DUH* to this next one. Of course we all want to see Firefly continue. But I like to imagine a new show where Kayleigh and Simon play house in a community space station with River as the doting aunt/ babysitter. House being haunted by the ghost of Wash would be a really plus.

Recently we finished watching through Alias for the 3rd time, and as much as I do not care for the final season, I would like there to be a spinoff of the one thing I always wanted to happen. After living peacefully on a beach somewhere, Sydney grieves the loss of Vaughn as he suffers a heart attack. Meanwhile she visit’s Marshall and his wife for play dates with the kids. Then she learns to love again in the arms of…Will Tippin. (Hey we can dream right?) But hold on there, she gets tapped back into the CIA, and even more missions, although none about Rambaldi.

This last show presented a challenge for me. It is still on the air, but maybe this is not so much a spinoff as a location change. Hank and the gang must take on a whole new challenge: Theme Park Resort Medical Concierge. Tropical location with the added benefit of people having heart attacks from roller coasters and poking their eyes out from selfie sticks. Hank can be seen frequently running in Disney5Ks while Boris contemplates purchasing a water park to house his dolphins.

Anyway, I may have been kidding about some of this, but seriously, we love the characters too much to let them go!
